Pioneer Lodge is a solid choice for anyone looking to explore Zion National Park. The location is convenient, with easy access to shuttles and nearby restaurants. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, we faced some hiccups with service and the dining experience left much to be desired. Despite these drawbacks, it offers good value overall.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a nice decoration style. However, we encountered a minor issue with a mouse running over our counter after unpacking, which was unsettling.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking at times, especially when it came to room assignments and pool access. The front desk staff could benefit from additional training in customer service.
Location
10.0
The lodge has an amazing location right on the shuttle line and is close to everything needed in Springdale, including shops and restaurants.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were a bit of a letdown; we found the grab-and-go offerings very limited, especially for dietary restrictions.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were generally okay, but the pool was locked, and there were issues with accessing it. There was also a lack of pool towels.

7.2/10

My stay at the Pioneer Lodge was enjoyable, with clean and comfortable accommodations and a super convenient location near Zion National Park. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made our experience pleasant. However, the dining options were underwhelming, and we experienced a few maintenance issues during our stay. Overall, it's a solid choice for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts looking for good value close to the park.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable environment after a long day of hiking. However, there were some issues with maintenance, including a window that couldn't be opened and the air conditioning not working properly at times.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated. They helped with our requests, but there were times when maintenance responses could have been quicker.
Location
10.0
The Lodge is perfectly situated right at the edge of Zion National Park, making it super convenient to access the trails. It's also within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Springdale.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were quite basic, essentially grab-and-go items. While it was fine, I wouldn't rely on it and suggest exploring local eateries instead.
Facilities
6.0
The pool was closed during my visit, which was disappointing. However, the laundry facilities on-site were a useful feature for our group.

Overall, my stay was quite decent. The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore Zion, with easy access to shuttle services. The rooms were clean and had nice amenities, but the breakfast left much to be desired. Parking was tight and slightly inconvenient, but the overall experience was still positive, especially since I was mostly just sleeping there.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and fairly comfortable, equipped with a fridge and a microwave, which was a nice touch. However, there was a large gap around the bathroom door where you could see daylight, and it didn’t lock properly.
Service
6.0
I found the service to be a bit lacking. I had to request more towels multiple times before actually receiving them, and there seemed to be a lack of experience among the staff. Check-in and check-out were smooth, though.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located near the shuttle lines for Zion National Park, which makes it easy to get around. However, the parking situation was very tight, and maneuvering my SUV was a challenge.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were quite disappointing. There was a limited selection, and while there were some staples, the quality was not great. I definitely think they could improve this aspect immensely.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel includes a pool and hot tub, which were nice to use after a long day. The area was clean, and I often found that I had it to myself, which was a plus.

I had a decent stay overall. The hotel is conveniently located near Zion National Park, making it easy to explore the area. My room was adequate but did have some cleanliness issues, with a few insects and a blocked toilet. The breakfast was decent, though the dining area was somewhat hard to find, and the pool was inviting. For the price, it was a good value, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Staff at check-in were pleasant, but I did have to ask for some information that wasn't provided in the room.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located just minutes away from Zion National Park and close to various restaurants and shops in the area.

Breakfast was adequate but lacked variety and organization, making it a bit of a hassle to access.

The hotel has a clean and rustic charm, perfect for visitors wanting to hike in Zion National Park. While the staff was friendly, the breakfast experience was quite awkward with limited choices. Parking was a significant issue during my stay, making returning from outings a hassle. The proximity to the park is a major plus, but the overall amenities could use some improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean but felt dated and cramped. Although they included two bathrooms, which was convenient for our group of four, the overall feel was not modern or spacious.
Service
5.0
The staff was friendly, but the reception was not very helpful during the parking situation I experienced.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the entrance of Zion National Park. However, the parking was a significant issue during my stay, especially during peak times.
Dining

Breakfast was quite limited and served in a cramped lobby area. I expected more variety based on other places I've stayed.
Facilities

The hotel had some facilities like a pool, but it was closed during my visit, which was disappointing.
